Local Theater Company presents a staged reading of Chasing Breadcrumbs by Michelle Tyrene Johnson, directed by Betty Hart
Serena, a playwright who has been commissioned by an organization with questionable intentions, navigates a minefield of “Karens”, creative compromises, and re-written history. Chasing Breadcrumbs explores how a Black woman navigates the world and discovers her need to tell a story that money can’t buy.
Chasing Breadcrumbs is presented as part of the Local Lab New Play Festival.
