The Dairy has been Boulder’s home for the arts, building a trusted, community presence for over 30 years. Founded in 1992, the Dairy Arts Center’s 42,000 square foot facility is the largest multi-disciplinary arts center in Boulder, home of the city’s only year-round arthouse cinema program, free Visual Arts Galleries awarded “Best of Boulder” for 6 consecutive years, and serving 100 unique arts organizations annually.

Through a diversity of events ranging from live music to comedy, educational workshops, regional theater and dance, and unique cultural celebrations, the Dairy’s audience is inclusive of all ages, backgrounds, and ability levels. Our free Visual Art Galleries, open daily, feature artists locally and globally, and our year-round cinema program draws audiences who appreciate film of all kinds: classics, festival winners, issue-driven narratives, and outdoor adventure documentaries.
