Molly and Giles Ralston have inherited her aunt’s creaky old Victorian. They decide to turn it into a guest house called Monkswell Manor. But a fierce blizzard on opening day traps seven people in the house as supplies of food and heat begin to dwindle. A policeman arrives on skis to warn everyone that a murderer is on the loose. Even worse, the police suspect the murderer plans to strike again – this time at Monkswell Manor.
