Director Ran Tal (“The Museum,” BJFF 2018) returns with a unique first-hand experience of Israeli history, witnessed — and recorded on camera — by celebrated war photographer Micha Bar-Am. Culled from over half a million negatives and spanning five decades of work, this portrait of an artist also illuminates the arc of Israeli history.
Independent filmmaker Ran Tal graduated from the Tel Aviv University Department of Film in 1994 and is the head of the MFA documentary film program at the Tisch Film School.
