This Hindi-language musical drama may not be exactly Bollywood, but it received many awards and shows that Indian film is exploring new kinds of stories to tell through cinema. It tells a coming-of-age story based on the lives of street rappers in Mumbai. Theough it deals with serious issues, it also has playful moments of humor. (Zoya Akhtar, 2019, India, 2:34, NR)
