To accompany the documentary about Powell and Pressburger this week, FNW is showing Powell’s iconic British psychological horror film. A young man murders women, using a movie camera to film their dying expressions of terror. Because of the controversial “snuff film” subject matter, this release nearly ruined Powell’s career but has become a cult classic since. (Michael Powell, 1960, UK, 1:41, NR)
