Another adaptation from the stage, this musical features Gwen Verdon and the choreography of Bob Fosse. The two first met on the Broadway production in 1955. A frustrated fan of the hopeless Washington Senators makes a pact with the Devil to help the baseball team win the league pennant. Music and lyrics by Richard Adler and jerry Ross.
