In Chasing Breadcrumbs, Serena, a Black playwright, has been commissioned to write a play by a well-heeled group of White women with questionable intentions. In the course of this world premiere comedy, Serena navigates a minefield of privilege, creative compromises, and re-written history. Provocatively funny and profoundly honest, this play shows that the best stories are ones money can’t buy.
