Dairy Arts Center Backporch Series Guidelines

Below are a few important reminders regarding this event:

This event will take place at the Dairy Arts Center loading dock (on the West side of the parking lot) at 2590 Walnut Street in Boulder. 

ARRIVAL

Our “doors” will open 30 minutes prior to the event start time. Please plan to arrive between this time and the start of the event. We plan to be ready to start the show at the time listed on your ticket.

MASKS

All attendees MUST wear a mask. Please arrive wearing a mask and plan to keep your mask on for the duration of the event. You may remove your mask only to eat and drink. 

SEATING

This event is BYOC (BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR). We reccommed a camping chair or lawn chair without a high back. We will be able to provide a folding chair if you do not have your own, but stress that you should plan ahead for your comfort.

A Dairy Staff member will direct you to your seating location when you arrive. Please, NO MINGLING between parties. This is for the safety of everyone at this event. If you have purchased a square, please plan to stay within your party only. We will not allow more than 4 people per square. CLIMATE

This event is outdoors so please plan accordingly for the weather. The sun will begin to set behind the apartment complex on the West side shortly after we begin, but you may want to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, or a hat just in case.

In the event of an emergency such as a rain delay, we will send text messages updates to the cell phone number provided at check out.

CONCESSIONS

Concessions including snacks like chips and pretzels, non alcoholic beverages, wine, and beer will be availalbe for purchase with credit card only.

Concessions will be sold at our concessions station outside on a first, come first served basis. Lines will be spaced 6ft apart and all concessions staff will be wearing both masks and gloves. Dairy staff and volunteers will help direct lines as necessary. Please DO NOT remove your mask while in line or ordering concessions. ONLY remove your mask to eat and drink once you are back at your seat. Please be mindful of putting your mask back on when you are finished.

You may bring your own food and non alcoholic beverage, but NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL. Our liquor license depends on your adherence to this policy. We reserve the right to check inside bags and coolers that are brought on the property. Thank you!

RESTROOMS

The Dairy Arts Center indoor restrooms will be available, but please note that restroom use will only be available to patrons one at a time with Dairy Arts Center staff and volunteers manning the entrance.

PARKING

Since the Dairy’s parking lot will be used for theater seating, please park in our overflow parking just across the street from the Dairy Arts Center at 2505 Walnut Street.

The Dairy Arts Center encourages environmentally conscious transportation whenever possible. We offer bike parking on the East side of the building (please note that bike spaces in the West will be unavailable due to seating for this event). Nearest Bus Stops include Pearl & Folsom Street, Pearl & 26th Street, Pearl & 28th Street, 28th & Canyon Blvd, Canyon Blvd & McGuckin Wy, and Canyon Blvd & Folsom Street.
