I grew up outside of Seattle, a place with a strong history of regional modernism, terrible weather, and beautiful landscapes. This lead me to a love of buildings that work with the landscape, are made from simple forms, and built with rich materials; elevating the beauty and poetry of the everyday.
From 2005-2010 I attended the University of Oregon and focused on sustainable design and Metalsmithing. In 2013 I won a design competition and was awarded a traveling fellowship that allowed me to explore the most sustainable cities in Europe. I studied how architecture, urban design, and culture allowed these cities to hit aggressive sustainability targets while simultaneously improving quality of life.
My continued fascination with art, building science, and urban design allow me to seamlessly integrate sustainability into beautiful, warm, modern buildings. I bring a high level of design and detail to every project I work on, and enjoy helping every client bring their unique vision to life.
