Nick is a scientist-turned-entrepreneur who is currently working to develop the next generation of diagnostics for the early detection of diseases. His publication record spans basic molecular biology, virology, evolution, emerging infectious disease, and diagnostic test development. At Darwin, Nick secures resources to facilitate product development, promote personnel growth, and create a company culture conducive to innovation.
As a mostly self-taught guitarist, Nick continues to devote himself to a deeper understanding of the instrument that serves as a conduit to his artistic expression. His passion for creating sounds has fueled a desire to support and nurture creativity within the Boulder community.
Nick’s journey to the Dairy Arts Center began at PEEK 2022, where he was introduced to the vibrant artistic community that thrives within its walls. With his background in science and business, Nick recognized the potential to combine his innovative skills with his creative talents to drive the Dairy Arts Center’s mission forward. His commitment to fostering artistic expression and community engagement will serve the Dairy by facilitating connections between two historically disparate communities; scientists and artists.
