LORO was made in two long episodes for Italian TV, but has been combined and trimmed down for American audiences. For people who want their leaders to be larger-than-life, one can see how this could happen, but of course, it could never happen here. Just a warning, there is a bit of sex and drugs in this movie, but there is also a thoughtful depiction of how desire, fame, power, and money become a collective obsession, and in this case, the aesthetics are stunning.
