The interplay between light and shadow set of demonstrations and discussions about how this simple concept is used through a wide range of art forms, with special emphasis given to the history of shadow puppetry. You will be inspired to experiment with a variety of materials you might have on hand, learning how to create a variety of effects, while also gaining appreciation for how shadows are used in the art work you might observe later.
Tobias Fike has exhibited his art internationally and extensively for the past decade. He has created educational courses for Arvada Center of the Arts and Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design.
