Jennifer Clements

Jennifer is a seasoned fundraising and communications professional with over two decades of experience in the arts sector. Most recently, she served as the Managing Director of a social justice-driven professional theatre in Washington, DC, where she championed innovative fundraising strategies and community engagement initiatives.

Previously, Jennifer spent eight years as the Associate Creative Director at Impact Communications, where she crafted fundraising messaging and strategies for global nonprofit organizations. She has also served on the staff of DC’s Studio Theatre, Theatre Washington, and Creative Cauldron. Her expertise in storytelling and strategic communication has helped numerous organizations amplify their missions and connect with diverse audiences. 

Jennifer holds an MFA in Creative Writing from George Mason University and an Executive Certificate in Arts & Culture Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2007, she received a Fulbright Fellowship to teach English in the Slovak Republic, further enriching her global perspective and love for travel. In her free time, she is a multi-hyphenate writer who enjoys collaborative projects and hybrid forms.
