Estranged Passengers: In Search of Viktor Ullmann is a profound documentary that delves into the life of composer Viktor Ullmann, exploring his resilience and creativity amidst the horrors of the Holocaust. Titled after Ullmann’s own diary, “Estranged Passengers,” this documentary follows his life from his internment in Terezin to his tragic end in Auschwitz. This moving story also highlights the painful separation from his children, who managed to escape Prague, forever affected by the loss of their family.
