The Dairy Arts Center is pleased to share the exciting news of our new endowment fund, recently established through a generous bequest from the Polly Addison estate. The newly established fund, the first of its kind at the Dairy, will help support our visual arts program and allow us to continue to offer award-winning exhibitions, free and open to the public year-round, for many years to come.
Many of you remember Polly as a woman who offered so much to so many. Whether it was helping with fundraisers, the visual arts committee or serving as a board member, her dedication and unflagging energy was always there to support the Dairy Art Center’s growth—often providing extra support in greater times of need.
Polly curated what was likely the first exhibit of “new media art” between Chicago and the West Coast at the Dairy. Many of the artists she chose years ago now have successful national and international careers. We are grateful for Polly’s thoughtful and generous support of the Dairy—an organization she cared about so very much during her lifetime.
In addition to Polly’s gift, an additional multi-year endowment pledge has been made in honor of A. Alfred Taubman to specifically underwrite the cost of one visual art exhibition per year in perpetuity. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the A. Alfred Taubman Foundation board of directors for their generous support of the Boulder arts community.
Gifts such as these ensure that the Dairy Arts Center can continue to offer impactful arts experiences for our beloved community long into the future.
