Chad McDaniel – Former Finance Executive. Current Drummer
Chad first came to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado. And with the exception
of a couple of stints in Denver, New York City, and London, he hasn’t left.
After earning a Master of Science in Accounting Chad began his professional career in
public accounting and later financial analysis. This led to co-founding a startup real
estate company that was acquired in 2016, allowing Chad to retire two years later and
be a stay-at-home Dad.
Chad has played drums since he was ten years old and always has a band going in
various genres with a great community of musicians. Additionally, he is a huge fan of
live performance and saw more than 30 live concerts, and a half dozen Broadway
shows, in 2023. He has been a patron of the Dairy Arts Center for at least a decade.
Including as a student in jazz combo classes, and for his kids in music and dance. To
serve on the Board and help bring greater ties to the community is an honor.
