WHAT IS THE ART HOUSE VISITING MEMBERS PROGRAM?
The Art House Convergence Visiting Members program allows members from participating theaters to visit other participating theaters and purchase tickets at the member discount, and affords them access to any other basic member benefits the “visited” theater chooses to offer (this includes but is not limited to discounted concessions, parking validation, etc.) This program is designed to highlight independent exhibitors as destinations for those outside their home communities and to build sustained reciprocity between the art house industry as a whole and our patrons.
HOW IT WORKS
An individual member in good standing of any participating independent exhibitor or organization (the members Home Exhibitor) can be considered a Visiting Member if they attend a regularly scheduled film and/or program at any participating VMP participating theater (the Host Exhibitor). The Host Exhibitor extends their basic (minimum) member benefit package to the Visiting Member, regardless of the member level/benefits the Member holds at their Home Exhibitor. To access these Host benefits, the Visiting Member must produce a valid membership card–physical or virtual–from their Home Exhibitor. If requested, the Visiting Member must also produce a valid picture ID for identity verification.
I AM A DAIRY MEMBER. WHAT BENEFITS DO I RECEIVE AT PARTICIPATING THEATERS?
It depends. You are eligible for a member priced ticket, which will vary at participating locations and each theater may choose to extend additional benefits (such as concessions discounts) at their discretion. We advise you to contact the theater you are visiting. You can find the list of participating theaters here.

Cinema Club Conversations
Community is what sets Dairy cinema apart from the commercial theater experience.
We believe that the cinema experience should extend beyond the screen. Great films are meant to be interpreted, discussed, and questioned – and when we are in community, we can connect insights and reflections that create a greater meaning that any single experience.
Our Members Cinema Club Conversations are designed to form a deeper connection with our member community and discuss the love of cinema. Each month, the Dairy’s programming committee will select one film and host a post film discussion facilitated by our cinema and membership staff. Different from our expert-led talkbacks, these are designed to be group discussion outside the cinema, where all are welcome to share their thoughts, feedback, and questions in a community centered environment – as well as form shared connections over additional film recommendations and experiences.
Pizza & Soda is provided! These conversations are free for members, but please make sure to purchase your film ticket separately! If you plan to attend and have a dietary restriction, please email us at memberships@thedairy.org
