What if we were the authors of our lives? In this solo memoir-theater piece, performer and storyteller Steve Oskard imagines a life designed before we were born — nothing random, a series of lessons on love. Structured around a recurring, irreverent dialogue with God, Steve traces real stories from his life, moving between stand-up timing and eulogy-level intimacy to ask its audience the same question he’s asking himself: not “why did this happen to me,” but “why did I create this?” Funny, devastating, and ultimately an argument for hope, this is Steve’s solo show debut, drawing on six decades of lived material.
