Join us for an evening reception with Boulder-based visual artist and poet Lisa Berley, celebrating a new body of work.
This exhibition showcases recent artworks from her series Neshama and her poetry manuscript finding Nefesh, where painting, collage, and erasure text intersect. Rooted in processes of redaction and reconstruction, Berley’s work reflects on grief, memory, and the possibility of connection beyond loss.
Drawing on personal experience and spiritual symbolism—including references to Japanese komainu guardian figures—these works explore duality, continuity, and transformation through a quiet, contemplative visual language.
