Dairy Arts Center

In 1963 Len Barron began college at the University of Colorado; he was thirty years old. After CU he went to graduate school in Washington D.C.  Later he taught Sociology at the University of Colorado, San Diego State University, and Prescott College in Arizona. Back in Boulder, in 1980 he began to write and perform in solo and ensemble theatre pieces, most notable “Walking Lightly…A Portrait of Einstein” and “Einstein and Niels Bohr…A Fairy Tale” which he presented for audiences across the country. He also produced and directed three one woman theatre pieces beginning with “A Matter of Heart.” For ten years he did interviews on KGNU, Boulder’s community radio station. Over the years he has presented the Einstein and Bohr theatre pieces as a fund raiser for Boulder organizations including The Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center, the Walter Orr Roberts Music Scholarship, Parenting Place, and Mothers Acting U.
