😷 Health and Safety at the Dairy

Dear Dairy Visitors,

Considering recent news about new outbreaks of Coronavirus (COVID-19) within the United States, I’m sharing the steps we are taking to try and curb the spread of pathogens at the Dairy. As of this writing, we have not heard of any new cases in Colorado, but we will continue to watch for updates provided by the Colorado Department of Public Health website. Updates regarding COVID-19 are made every Wednesday.

For all Dairy visitors and residents, we have provided alcohol-based sanitizer dispensers in three locations:

  • Hartman Box Office

  • Polk Cafe

  • Boedecker Concessions

Dairy personnel will encourage all patrons and staff to make use of this service during their visit. Countertops, door handles, elevator buttons, and railings will be wiped down periodically throughout the day and evening.

In an effort to encourage safe practices, until further notice, we will be waiving ticket exchange fees due to illness pursuant to the following criteria and conditions:

  • Exchange date must be in the run of the same performance/presenting organization.

  • All exchanges are dependent on seating availability.

  • Exchanges must take place before curtain time of the show currently listed on the purchased ticket.

  • If you are exchanging your original ticket for a higher-priced ticket, Dairy staff will charge you the difference.

In the unlikely event that the Dairy must close to the public, we will handle refunds in the following way:

  • If your ticketed performance or film is a Dairy-produced show, we will fully refund your tickets during the mandated closure time period.

  • If your ticketed performance or film is produced by a renting organization, refunds are at the discretion of each renting organization.

  • Please contact the Box Office with specific questions related to your ticketed performance.

  • If you call the Box Office and receive a message, please leave a voice message with a call-back number and a Box Office staff member will return your call in the order in which it was received. If the Box Office is closed due to a mandated closure, Dairy staff will return your call once the Dairy is back open for business.

Keep in mind, our plan is merely a precaution. We are all hoping for the best. In the meantime, get plenty of rest, fresh air, laughter, good food, and try waving or nodding instead of the traditional handshake. Or if you feel like sporting some elegant gloves, why not have fun with it!

Yours in good health,

Melissa Fathman
Executive Director
