By continuing with this order and completing this purchase, ticket holders, donors, and all other patrons agree to the following terms and conditions regarding Dairy Arts Center Event/Donor Information and Hartman Box Office Ticketing Policy.
All sales are final. Refunds are not permitted. Ticketing exchanges MAY be possible depending on availability. Call the Hartman Box Office at 303-444-7328 for assistance and further information. Possible exchanges will ONLY be permitted before curtain time. No exchanges will be processed after the show begins. Exchange fees may apply. Exchanges will only be made if the box office can confirm that seats have been made available. We will not release the seats of ticket holders who have not shown up at curtain time to any other patron. Doors open approximately 30 minutes before show time. Please plan to arrive on time. Latecomers are admitted at the discretion of the Dairy Arts Center House Manager and/or presenting company. Refunds will not be permitted due to late or missed seating.
The Dairy Arts Center is a 501© (3) organization (Tax ID #841149609), and your contribution is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your generous donation.

Tickets purchased by Phone from the Hartman Box Office or online through the Dairy Website will be assessed service fees. Service fee varies based on price of ticket purchase. Service fees do not apply to in-person ticket purchases through the Hartman Box Office during regular business hours or one hour prior to event start time. No service fees will be added to Dairy Arts Center programmed cinema at the Boedecker Theater.
Starting July 1, 2018 service fees will be charged as a flat rate of 13% per ticket ordered for live events through the Hartman Box Office. Any ticket exchanges made after July 1, 2018 for tickets purchased before that date will be subject to the new service fee rate, thus incurring additional costs.
Why charge service fees? Service fee collection helps cover the cost of operations of the Hartman Box Office such as staffing, day-of-event box office support, online ticketing, general supplies, and event management. Collecting minimal fees allows the majority or your ticket purchase to support Dairy Arts Center programming and Presenting Organizations.
Exchanges are possible within the following criteria:
- Exchange date MUST be in the run of the same performance/presenting organization
- Dependent on seating availability
- ALL exchanges MUST take place before curtain time of the show currently listed on the purchased ticket
- Exchange may apply
Patrons exchanging tickets will be charged $3.00 – $5.00 at the following schedule:
- Tickets exchanged one week out from a live performance will be charged a fee of $3.00 per ticket exchanged.
- Tickets exchanged less than 24 hours from a live performance start time will be charged $5.00 per ticket exchanged.
- Exchange fees do not apply to Dairy Arts Center Members or Boulder Ensemble Theater Company Subscribers.
- Exchange fees do not apply to cinema tickets at the Boedecker Theater.
Why charge exchange fees? Ticket exchanges are disruptive to the flow of box office procedures and can be costly to presenting organizations.
Select events may offer promotion codes for discounted tickets. Promotion codes are distributed at the discretion of the event’s Presenting Organization. Please note that certain promotion codes may require a valid student ID or other form of identification. By using a promotional code, you are agreeing to sharing this information with and/or contact information gathered from your order with the Dairy Arts Center and the event’s Presenting Organization.
Live Events: All live Virtual Events will be held as a webinar via Zoom technology. To tune in, you will need a computer, phone, tablet or another personal electronic device with audio capabilities connected to the internet. You will need to create a free Zoom account in order to participate. If you are new to Zoom, follow this link as a helpful guide to learn about joining and participating in a webinar. We do stream the majority of events as a webinar, meaning that if you are in the audience, you can see and hear our performers, but they cannot see or hear you. However, that doesn’t mean you cannot interact with the performers. Use that both the CHAT and Q&A features, to interact with our performers, Dairy Staff, and each other, ask questions and let us know how we are doing.
The private link and password to all Zoom events will be sent via email from the Dairy Box Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) at the TIME OF PURCHASE and again on the DAY OF YOUR EVENT. The zoom link, meeting ID and password (if applicable) will all be found on the ticket PDF in the email attachment.
We will open the “doors” for registered attendees to access all live virtual events approximately 15 minutes before the start time. If you do not receive the invitation prior to your event via email from the Dairy Arts Center, please contact the Dairy’s staff at email@example.com. There will be someone monitoring this email at the time of any Live Virtual Event.
Pre Recorded Performance Video: For Password protected pre recorded performances, the private password and video link will be emailed to you on the ticket attachment from the Dairy Box Office. Check your email for an order confirmation from “The Dairy Box Office” and open the PDF ticket attachment.
Ticket Donations: Many of the Dairy Arts Center’s Free Range Dairy virtual programs are donation based events. The Dairy Arts Center respectfully requests that patrons donate $5, $10 or $20 to attend virtual events to benefit Dairy Arts Center and the Presenting Organization as arts organizations are relying on your generous support during this time to maintain operations. However, we understand this is difficult for everyone and that not everyone has the capacity to donate at this time. If you are unable to make a donation, but would like to attend a Free Range Dairy virtual event, please contact our staff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Virtual Cinema: The Dairy Arts Center offers virtual cinema programming through partnerships with our numerous distributors. Every new release we offer will be available through the individual distributor’s websites and streaming services. You’ll be taken to their websites to purchase and watch the film, but a portion of your ticket will help support the Dairy Arts Center. Because each rental’s streaming portal and ticketing service is provided by the distributor, your Dairy Arts Center login credentials will not be valid. Some sites may require you to create a new account. If you have any questions or issues, please contact Dairy Arts Center staff at email@example.com and we may be able to help you troubleshoot or find the correct contact & FAQ for the particular streaming service.
All drive-in ticketing is advanced sales via the internet. There are no in-person ticket sales.
In order to make check-in easy, we ask that you give us the make/model/color of your car, and the license plate number.
The movie will start when it is dark enough. Please arrive before dark, as instructed by our email to ticket buyers, so that you can get situated in your parking space.
We will be directing you to your parking space, making sure higher vehicles are in the back row.
Please remain in your car. Resist the urge to get out and talk to people or socialize through open car windows. This is important. Masks must be worn by staff and patrons at all times when outside of vehicles or if windows are down.
In following the guidelines set by Boulder County for Drive-In events, we must ensure that patrons remain in their cars. This includes the following:
- No playing outside prior to the event
- No setting up lawn chairs or blankets outside of your vehicle
- No sitting in the bed of a pickup truck
You may go to the restroom, if needed, through our west entrance, to the right of the screen. Our staff will let you into the building.
The audio will be broadcast via FM radio, which you will need to have in your car. Please take the time to figure out how to turn your car accessories on in the minimal fashion to not use up your battery charge or have your headlights on. We don’t know your car, so it is up to you to know how to do this before you come.
You may start your car periodically to maintain battery charge, but please only run it for 2 minute intervals.
It is very problematic to leave during the movie without disrupting the show. You must remain parked in your space until the end of the movie, and then exit the parking lot when and as directed by a staff member.
Be very careful of the projection system in the middle of the parking lot.
In the case of hard or sustained rain or snow, the movie will have to stop. You will get a “rain check” for another movie, rather than a refund. Please understand that we all share the risk of the weather changing our plans, and that the Dairy cannot take on all of this risk alone. If we do, then the drive-in is no longer financially feasible.
This process is in-progress and may change over time as circumstances warrant. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we all work through this together.
Arrival: Entrance to the event is located across the bridge on the Northside of our parking lot. Our “doors” will open approximately 45 minutes prior to show time for seating.
COVID Safety & Masks: In compliance with state and county guidelines, all attendees MUST wear a mask. Please arrive wearing a mask and plan to keep your mask on for the duration of the event. You may remove your mask only to eat and drink. If you are experiencing any COVID symptoms or believe you may have come into contact with COVID, please do not attend. We will refund your ticket or offer an exchange for a future event.
Seating: This event is BYOC (BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR). We recommend a camping chair or lawn chair without a high back. We will be able to provide a folding chair if you do not have your own, but stress that you should plan ahead for your comfort.
A Dairy Staff member will direct you to your seating location when you arrive. Please, NO MINGLING between parties. This is for the safety of everyone at this event. If you have purchased a square, please plan to stay within your party only. We will not allow more than 4 people per square. Climate: This event is outdoors so please plan accordingly for the weather. During the Spring and Summer, the sun may still be out for the first half of the performance so plan to bring sunscreen, hats/visors, and sunglasses. As we move into the Fall, we plan to go on with the show, rain or shine. Please bring jackets, umbrellas, blankets, etc. as needed. In the event of a weather delay, we will send an SMS text notification to your mobile phone.
Concessions: Concessions including snacks like chips and pretzels, non alcoholic beverages, wine, and beer will be available for purchase with credit card only. Concessions will be sold at our concessions station outside on a first, come first served basis. Lines will be spaced 6ft apart and all concessions staff will be wearing both masks and gloves. Dairy staff and volunteers will help direct lines as necessary. Please DO NOT remove your mask while in line or ordering concessions. ONLY remove your mask to eat and drink once you are back at your seat. Please be mindful of putting your mask back on when you are finished. You may bring your own food and non alcoholic beverage, but NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL. Our liquor license depends on your adherence to this policy. Thank you!
Restrooms: The Dairy Arts Center indoor restrooms will be available, but please note that restroom use will only be available to patrons one at a time with Dairy Arts Center staff and volunteers manning the entrance.
Parking: Since the Dairy’s parking lot will be used for theater seating, please park in our overflow parking just across the street from the Dairy Arts Center at 2505 Walnut Street. The Dairy Arts Center encourages environmentally conscious transportation whenever possible. We offer bike parking on the East side of the building (please note that bike spaces in the West will be unavailable due to seating for this event). Nearest Bus Stops include Pearl & Folsom Street, Pearl & 26th Street, Pearl & 28th Street, 28th & Canyon Blvd, Canyon Blvd & McGuckin Wy, and Canyon Blvd & Folsom Street. The Dairy Arts Center reserves the right to inspect any bags brought into the theater for security purposes. If any patron brings a large bag or backpack, we may ask to secure your bag at our box office or in storage in order to keep aisles and egresses clear.
We recognize the importance of health and safety during the ongoing evolution of Covid-19 and will gladly refund or exchange tickets for on-site and in person-events only for any reason with no added fees until further notice. If you are experiencing any COVID symptoms or believe you may have come into contact with COVID, please do not attend an on-site or in-person event. We will refund your ticket or offer an exchange for a future event. Please note, this exception does not apply to virtual events. Contact email@example.com for more information.
