What can be better than a screenplay by Arthur Miller for a John Huston film starring Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, and Montgomery Clift. With relatable characters that might be on the losing end of live, whether by circumstance or personal flaws, we are carried away by their dogged hopefulness and humanity.
