Call for Arts Education Programming

Our Stories: a community resource for purposeful art education presented by the Dairy Arts Center

Deadline for Proposals: December 27th, 2020
Final Product due: January 24th, 2020

With the generous support of the Xcel Energy Foundation, the Dairy Arts Center is seeking proposals for virtual arts education instructional videos targeting a range of age groups and a variety of art forms. Individual artists or arts organizations that represent a wide spectrum of art forms are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to: theater, visual arts, music, performing arts, literature, film or moving image, etc.

The Dairy is in the process of creating a multi-faceted arts education curriculum centered around the idea of storytelling. We are seeking instructional videos to be used asynchronously as virtual workshops that explore the art of storytelling using artistic elements like color, line, lyrics, shapes, composition or harmony to set mood, character or plot development.  Your project should be targeted to one of the following age groups: elementary, middle, high school, and/or family programming.

Please submit a one-page description of your project by December 27th to be eligible for our education microgrants. Within your description, indicate which age group your lesson is geared toward. Unique and creative takes on the implementation of storytelling will be favored.

Deadline to submit proposal: December 27th @ 11:59pm
Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.

Award: $500 microgrant
