In modern day\, precocious but awkward 8th grader Claire seeks to learn more about Audrey and what it means to be “beautiful.” \nTheir stories come together with a compelling score by Graham and Kristina Fuller (off-Broadway’s “That Parenting Musical\,” f/k/a “In the Trenches”)\, and a book by the Fullers and Stephanie Ronco. A childhood prodigy born with perfect pitch\, Carson composed complete songs at age four and had his music performed by the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra at age sixteen\, leading him to be called “one of the most gifted rising stars” by the Edmonton Journal. When he attended the New England Conservatory\, however\, his studies with Joe Maneri\, Cecil Taylor\, and the poet Robert Creeley led him to a dramatic life change: he walked away from music and spent two years backpacking and farming overland from Spain to Japan. After his return to Northern Alberta\, Canada\, he then spent five years designing\, building\, and practicing in a remote strawbale cabin. Her uncle is an actor-director\, recently blacklisted after a scandal of his own. He decides to direct the short play because of a similar experience directing a play at the same university 40 years earlier. It doesn’t take long before Sieon develops feelings for Jeonim’s colleague\, Professor Jeong\, a textile professor. Meanwhile\, the circumstances surrounding the scandal grow more complicated\, the moon waxes in the sky each night\, and every morning Jeonim goes to the stream and sketches to grasp its patterns. For his 32nd feature film\, Hong Sangsoo returns to the campus setting of films like Oki’s Movie (2010) and Our Sunhi (2013) and revisits thematic concerns and modes of expression he hasn’t touched on in his cinema for some time. Upon arrival\, Jozef finds the Sanatorium entirely moribund and run by a dubious Doctor Gotard\, who tells him that his father’s death\, the death that has struck him in his country\, has not yet occurred and that here they are always late by a certain interval of time of which the length cannot be defined. Jozef will come to realize that the Sanatorium is a floating world halfway between sleep and wakefulness and that time and events cannot be measured in any tangible form. A native of South Los Angeles and a California Institute of the Arts alumna\, her comedy style is something similar to a one-woman show. She is the New Talent Coordinator at Comedy Works where you can find her performing regularly. Also catch her nationally opening for Josh Blue and headlining with Moms Unhinged. \nStacy Pederson’s journey began with a diagnosis of terminal illness in her first husband. From there\, she faced a failed marriage\, single parenting\, financial collapse\, and job loss. But her resilience shone through these setbacks. With a health challenge of her own\, a mis-diagnosis of 12 years led to multiple hospital stays\, near-death experiences\, and surgery that changed her life. Stacy’s deep understanding of hope\, joy\, and laughter\, born from these struggles\, infuses every talk she gives with heart and authenticity. With a BFA in Theatre\, Stacy has performed across stage\, film\, standup comedy\, and radio. She is currently a National Touring Comedian with the\, “Mom’s Unhinged”\, Stand-Up Comedy Show. \nMark Masters is Colorado’s 2nd cleanest comedian. He is a comedy club headliner\, event host and dive bar open-mic’er. He has performed and been featured in media outlets around the world. He hosts and books the Vail Comedy Show in Vail\, CO. He runs LoDo Comedy Show. He tapes a weekly video podcast on Mondays called “Always Bookin’ Comedy”. He denies writing all of this in the third person. \nCatherine Shea is a single mom with none of the facts but all of the answers!
