SUMMARY:Life: A Delightful Show About Fear and Grief
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nEmbark on a thought-provoking experience that will leave you feeling connected and inspired. \nLife: A Delightful Show About Fear & Grief portrays the infinite need to honor the challenges and move through the pain served up by life\, while maintaining connection\, meaning\, and love. \nBlending comedy\, storytelling\, and spoken word poetry\, the show explores the awful\, hilarious\, and utterly human experience of fear\, grief\, and ultimately acceptance. With humor and heart\, this show offers a fresh lens on these timeless and difficult emotions. \nFear and grief are not just inevitable — they are sacred rites of passage. A catalyst for transformation and resilience. And they belong to all of us. This performance invites you into that shared space and encourages a path toward healing. Topics include addiction\, loss\, love\, health\, dementia\, and more. Join us and experience the power of connection\, compassion\, and community. \n“So many beautiful moments; they had the full attention of every single individual lucky enough to have been there to experience greatness in writing\, character\, and humility.” – Suzanne D. \n”The show was nothing like I’ve seen before. There was laughter\, joy\, and tears at different times and each artist had a unique style of delivery that made the show engaging\, real\, and raw. If you are curious or intrigued\, definitely make the time to see it. You will be happy you did!” – Jean D. \n“I was honored to witness such a comical\, beautiful\, gut-wrenching\, and passionate show! This was some amazing work. Thank you for putting your heartfelt stories out there.”– Leah D. \n“Your performance was awe-inspiring. The entire performance of the 3 of you was one of the most moving emotionally I have ever experienced. From the depths of sorrow to the heights of laugher it flowed seamlessly and effortlessly. Ya’ll had the audience every second. Not a dry eye in the room. Brilliantly organized and choreographed. Your ending with the message of hope and love was more than perfect. Wow\, I’m still enthralled.” – Bruce M. \nPerforming: Katie Mason\, Elaina McMillan\, Andrea Sodergren \nAndrea Sodergren is a head strong powerhouse. Her drive for success is indisputable as evidenced by winning athletic competitions\, conquering businesses\, and jet-setting across the country for her wildly successful stand-up show\, Moms Unhinged. But once she finally slows down and gets quiet\, the emotions begin to flow. Deep love pours through as she remembers her late father\, navigates post-divorce dating\, and embraces empty nesting. This show has helped Andrea find her tender side allowing her to practice strengthening her softness and vulnerability. \nElaina McMillan is all heart. The kind of fluttering\, optimistic\, sweet heart typically found in the innocence of a child. This heart is her blessing to this world and her challenge to face\, as she unfolds into the fear and grief associated with slowly losing her mother to Alzheimer’s\, navigating her son’s fentanyl addiction\, and facing the new reality of a chronic illness. How can this hypnotist\, belief coach\, and comic make peace with pain when her tendency is to move away from it? Hear her journey as Elaina deepens in the trust that she can be with ALL of life and still keep her sweet heart open. \nKatie Mason IS soul. She infuses depth and intention into everything she does because she cannot be any other way. As a Poet Laureate and psychotherapist\, Katie embodies a commitment to both spiritual and personal growth. When she shares herself\, she brings a courageous openness to grief along with a grounded\, authentic presence. Her gift to this show is to create space for others to explore and embrace their own truth as she shares hers.

SUMMARY:Dairy Comedy In The Boe
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS \nIn a rare changeup\, just for February\, we are moving this showcase to Sunday at 7pm. \nAfter climbing the corporate ladder in his family’s South Florida car business\, Dave Williamson decided he liked making his customers smile\, but LOVED making them laugh. Since then\, he has excelled in almost every domestic Comedy Festival\, making the finals or “Best of The Fest” in the World Series of Comedy\, Boston Comedy Festival\, San Francisco Comedy Competition\, Big Sky Comedy Festival\, the SLO Comedy Festival\, and several others. Shortly after being named “Best Comedian in Miami” by the Miami New Times\, Dave packed up his family in a 25 foot travel trailer. They traveled with him while he performed all over North America\, eventually settling in Los Angeles after 18 months of touring. This trip was documented in a series of shorts by Nickelodeon.\nAli Kareem is a comedian based in Denver\, known for his sharp wit and engaging storytelling. Born in Baghdad\, Ali’s remarkable journey began as an interpreter for the U.S. Military in Iraq\, a role that eventually led to his U.S. citizenship. Today\, Ali continues to captivate audiences throughout Colorado\, delivering laughter with every performance.\nRebeca Trejo is a Denver-based standup comedian with a style once described by Josh Blue as “slam poetry with punchlines.” Born in Venezuela\, raised in Puerto Rico\, Rebeca migrated to the mainland in 2014 to escape both communism and colonialism\, so naturally she fled to…Louisiana. Now living in Denver\, Rebeca performs stand-up comedy in both English and Spanish. She hosts and produces Me Meo Comedy Show\, the only Spanish-language comedy showcase in Denver.\nHailing from Omaha\, Georgia Comstock has an uncanny gift for blending razor-sharp writing with an effortlessly disarming Midwestern charm that sneaks up on you- then floors you with laughter.\nZoe Rogers\nAnd your host\, the founder of the Boulder Comedy Festival\, Zoe Rogers.

SUMMARY:Marty O'Reilly\, with Antonio Lopez
DESCRIPTION:Marty O’Reilly’s music feels timeless\, like an old story told in a new way. His raw\, soulful voice and gritty guitar playing form the foundation of a sound rooted in Americana. Drawing inspiration from folk icons like Woody Guthrie\, blues legends like Howlin’ Wolf\, gospel pioneers like Sister Rosetta Thorpe\, and storytellers like Tom Waits\, Marty’s music captivates and connects audiences. \nHis live performances aren’t just concerts; they’re cathartic experiences. From soft and haunting moments to wild and electric highs\, his shows linger with you long after the lights come up. Marty’s songs dig deep into the human experience\, exploring themes of loneliness\, connection\, love\, and loss. Whether performing solo or with a full band\, he brings listeners into his world\, making them feel like part of the story. \nOver years of relentless touring and self-funded albums\, Marty has built a dedicated following. He’s shared the stage with Shakey Graves\, St. Paul & The Broken Bones\, and Sarah Jarosz and played festivals like Bottlerock and High Sierra Music Festival. Through it all\, he remains focused on creating music that is honest\, meaningful\, and profoundly real. \nAntonio Lopez is a quiet man with something to say. His music is like an onion\, each layer revealing more. His adept guitar work and composition skills are never used in a showy way but rather like the spices in a home-cooked meal. The result is a feast of emotions that delight the listener. His sound is modern folk rock with marimba swells and swooning fingerstyle guitar over a rock-solid rhythm section. Through the lens of his indigenous Chicano roots\, Lopez speaks many truths with gentle precision. Rather than tell the listener what to feel or think\, Lopez invites you to see yourself reflected in the lyrical stories created by the music. He holds degrees in guitar performance and music composition from Adams State University. Antonio Lopez is a Colorado native from Alamosa and now resides in Longmont.

DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nFeb 18-22 \nIn the early 1970s\, the FBI recruited Sara Jane Moore\, a conservative mother from the San Francisco suburbs\, to infiltrate leftist organizations—but her deeply radicalizing politics complicated her role. Moore takes us back through her recollections and perspectives leading up to the moment where she attempted to assassinate President Gerald Ford\, and an eerie sense of déjà vu takes hold as the tightrope of tension—between the ideals of the US and the realities we are living through—becomes a stranglehold. SUMMARY:Black Futures in Art Exhibition Opening Reception
DESCRIPTION:On View Feb 19 – March 29 | Opening Reception: Feb 20\, 5 – 8 PMFourth Annual Exhibition at the Dairy Arts Center | Curated by Adderly Grant-Lord \nNow in its fourth year at the Dairy Arts Center\, Black Futures in Art is a sweeping\, annual exhibition presented in celebration of Black History Month and in ongoing recognition of Black artistry and excellence year-round. Curated by Adderly Grant-Lord\, the exhibition brings together Black artists from Colorado and across the United States\, highlighting a broad range of practices\, voices\, and visions shaping contemporary art today. \nThis year’s exhibition is grounded in the theme “The excellence beneath our feet lives in our bones\,” a poetic meditation on legacy\, inheritance\, and resilience. The exhibition looks to what has been buried\, erased\, or overlooked in both past and present\, while honoring the enduring knowledge\, creativity\, and excellence that persist across generations. Through visual art\, the exhibition considers how memory\, land\, body\, and ancestry carry stories forward\, and how art becomes a conduit for community\, reflection\, and dialogue around the past\, present\, and future. \nBlack Futures in Art creates space for both celebration and critical engagement\, inviting audiences to witness how artists navigate history\, imagine possibility\, and cultivate collective understanding. The exhibition is accompanied by a robust slate of public programming\, including film screenings\, artist talks\, a lecture series\, hands-on workshops — and a special live musical performance at the Opening Reception. \n\n Opening Reception Musicians\nThe evening will feature a dynamic ensemble of Colorado-based musicians whose practices bridge classical training\, jazz lineage\, and contemporary experimentation: \nJoe Tabano (Trumpet) – A Denver-born and raised trumpet player\, Joe’s roots in jazz are shaped by mentorship connected to the lineage of Ron Miles. Having toured throughout the United States and Europe\, his sound blends traditional jazz sensibility with expansive improvisation and expressive depth. \nLiv Stephfano (Cello) – A Horizon High School student and accomplished young cellist\, Liv was selected for the district-wide Honors Concert and earned 2nd Chair among 15 top performers — a testament to her dedication and musical excellence. \nJosias Gilmore (Electric Guitar) – An accomplished guitarist with several years of performance experience\, Josias has played iconic stages including Red Rocks Amphitheatre\, Fillmore Auditorium\, and Paramount Theatre\, bringing versatility and stage presence to every performance. \nPhillip Cutler (Violin) – A Fort Collins–based violinist with over 13 years of training\, Phillip bridges classical discipline with contemporary exploration. Having participated in Colorado All-State Orchestras and studied under Mark Woods of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra\, his work blends orchestral precision with modern energy\, drawing from classical\, fiddle\, jazz\, and electronic influences. \nTogether\, these musicians create a layered sonic environment that echoes the exhibition’s themes of inheritance\, evolution\, and living legacy.

SUMMARY:Native Niches: Ecological Identity Exhibition Opening
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the opening reception for Native Niches; Ecological Identity. \n\nAn exhibition showcasing Traditional Ecological Knowledge that Indigenous people have fostered for millennia. Curated by students\, Asia Thunderhawk and Lucero Armendariz. On Display February 9th-April 5th\, 2026.\n\nEach of us inhabits a niche in the natural world\, each a member of our ecological communities with a responsibility to the landscape around us. This concept is best illustrated by the Traditional Ecological Knowledge that Indigenous people have fostered for millennia. Native Niches invites both the artist and guest to explore their position in ecological past\, present and future. It investigates how Indigenous cultures and experiences have been influenced by flora and fauna\, and envisions a future where people are no longer discrete from the web of life.\n\n\nLucero Armendariz-Klaasmeyer\n“Growing up surrounded by art\, science\, and the natural world\, Lucero has cultivated a multidisciplinary artistic identity. Working primarily with digital tools as well as oils to create illustrations and comics\, Lucero explores the speculative\, mundane\, and endearing aspects of our world. She hopes to use her skills for science communication in the future.”\n\nAsia Thunderhawk (Sicangu Lakota) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Denver\, Colorado. Catalyzed by the many Lakota artists in her family\, she explores the relationship between North American ecology and indigenous art and culture. Her practice utilizes beadwork\, natural materials\, and indigenous american plants.

SUMMARY:Musical Vanguards at the Dairy presents Taarka
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\n$10 Student Tickets! \nIf you love string music that’s virtuosic\, globally inspired\, and wildly fun live\, don’t miss Taarka. \nOften described as “a collision between Django Reinhardt and David Grisman\,” Taarka blends the precision of a top-tier acoustic string band with the adventurous spirit of a musical travelogue\, drawing on flavors of Gypsy and Eastern European folk\, bluegrass\, old-time\, jazz\, Celtic\, rock\, and beyond. SUMMARY:Nosilla Dance Project Presents (un)Forgotten | Feb. 27 - Mar 1
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\n \nTO OBTAIN MARCH 1ST TICKETS\, PLEASE CLICK “MARCH 2026” FROM THE “PLEASE SELECT A MONTH” OPTION ON THE BUY TICKETS LANDING PAGE TO OPEN THE DROPDOWN LIST. \nWake Up! We’ve Been Here Before! \n“(un) Forgotten” is a bold evening-length dance production choreographed by Artistic Director Alli Jones that confronts war\, division\, and loss as urgent reflections of our present world. Through powerful imagery rooted in the history of the Holocaust\, the performance invites audiences to feel\, connect\, and recognize how cycles of hatred and silence repeat as memory fades. \nInvoking memory through movement\, dancers Cassy Clark\, Nicola Elder\, Angela Gumieniak\, Mira Kaplan\, Jethro Paine\, Claire Schlutt\, and Eva Wilder move through moments where escape and luck were once the only chances for survival. With a set crafted for this work by Justin Kalvin and costumes designed by former Naropa Arts Professor Joan Anderson and local artist\, acupuncturist Laurel Miller\, the work is brought to life with striking visual elements. “(un) Forgotten” invites a conversation about the consequences of forgetting\, the patterns we repeat\, and the histories we carry; it is a recollection of what our world was\, is\, and may be becoming. \nSunday\, March 1\, 2:00 PM: Pay What You Can ($5.75 minimum)
