SUMMARY:Musical Vanguards at the Dairy presents Taarka
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\n$10 Student Tickets! \nIf you love string music that’s virtuosic\, globally inspired\, and wildly fun live\, don’t miss Taarka. \nOften described as “a collision between Django Reinhardt and David Grisman\,” Taarka blends the precision of a top-tier acoustic string band with the adventurous spirit of a musical travelogue\, drawing on flavors of Gypsy and Eastern European folk\, bluegrass\, old-time\, jazz\, Celtic\, rock\, and beyond. Expect soaring vocals\, jaw-dropping 5-string violin\, and lightning-fast mandolin and guitar\, all woven into songs that tell stories and instrumentals that build into irresistible momentum. As No Depression raves: “Their voices sound fantastic together…Enion is a marvelous violin player\, and David is her equal on mandolin and guitar.” \nTaarka’s calling card is their colorful\, high-energy live show\, the kind that can shift from intimate and cinematic to dance-floor electric in a heartbeat. Come for the musicianship\, stay for the joy\, and leave with melodies stuck in your head. \nTaarka and its members have performed with members of Old and In the Way\, the Grateful Dead\, Phish\, and String Cheese Incident\, and shared stages with Linda Ronstadt\, The Decembrists\, Darrel Scott\, John Cowan\, Yonder Mountain String Band\, Peter Rowan\, Darol Anger\, Joe Craven\, ALO\, Keller Williams\, Danny Barnes\, Steve Kimock\, Taj Mahal\, Widespread Panic\, The Samples\, and Aquarium Rescue Unit\, Kaki King\, Rob Wasserman\, Tony Furtado\, The Motet\, Dan Bern and The Everyone Orchestra.

SUMMARY:Nosilla Dance Project Presents (un)Forgotten | Feb. 27 - Mar 1
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\n \nTO OBTAIN MARCH 1ST TICKETS\, PLEASE CLICK “MARCH 2026” FROM THE “PLEASE SELECT A MONTH” OPTION ON THE BUY TICKETS LANDING PAGE TO OPEN THE DROPDOWN LIST. \nWake Up! We’ve Been Here Before! \n“(un) Forgotten” is a bold evening-length dance production choreographed by Artistic Director Alli Jones that confronts war\, division\, and loss as urgent reflections of our present world. Through powerful imagery rooted in the history of the Holocaust\, the performance invites audiences to feel\, connect\, and recognize how cycles of hatred and silence repeat as memory fades. \nInvoking memory through movement\, dancers Cassy Clark\, Nicola Elder\, Angela Gumieniak\, Mira Kaplan\, Jethro Paine\, Claire Schlutt\, and Eva Wilder move through moments where escape and luck were once the only chances for survival. With a set crafted for this work by Justin Kalvin and costumes designed by former Naropa Arts Professor Joan Anderson and local artist\, acupuncturist Laurel Miller\, the work is brought to life with striking visual elements. “(un) Forgotten” invites a conversation about the consequences of forgetting\, the patterns we repeat\, and the histories we carry; it is a recollection of what our world was\, is\, and may be becoming. \nSunday\, March 1\, 2:00 PM: Pay What You Can ($5.75 minimum)

SUMMARY:Father Mother Sister Brother | Mar 4 - 10\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nMar 4-8 \nWinner of the Golden Lion Best Film prize at the 2025 Venice Film Festival\, FATHER MOTHER SISTER BROTHER is the eagerly-awaited new film from Jim Jarmusch. Funny\, tender and astutely observed\, this is an intimate exploration of the universal intricacies of family dynamics. Starring Tom Waits\, Adam Driver\, Mayim Bialik\, Charlotte Rampling\, Cate Blanchett\, Vicky Krieps\, Indya Moore\, and Luka Sabbat. Told in the form of a triptych divided into chapters set in New Jersey\, Dublin\, and Paris\, each story concerns the relationships between adult children\, their somewhat distant parent (or parents)\, and each other. Blending remarkable performances from its ensemble cast with Jarmusch’s wry and idiosyncratic observations of everyday life\, the iconic indie director’s latest serves as a timely reminder that you can choose your friends and your lovers\, but you can’t choose your family. DESCRIPTION:TICKETS \nIn pre-internet 1987\, Conor and his dog Sandy live a life of seclusion\, lost in the slow-rendering graphics of early Macs and televisions aglow with late night horror movie marathons. But when he begins playing OBEX\, a new and mysterious\, state-of-the-art computer game\, he finds himself trapped in a low-tech\, but high-stakes analog hellscape as the line between reality and game blurs. Audacious and uncanny\, writer-director Albert Birney’s OBEX is a delightfully skewed lo-fi fantasy. And we could all use a feel good story too. This film is both. \nGRINTA! transports you to another place and time with a little-known story about heart and grit set in the beautiful vistas of Provence and Veneto\, Italy in the mid 1990s. \nIn GRINTA!\, Eros Poli\, a towering Italian professional cyclist now in midlife\, travels back to France on the thirtieth anniversary of when he defied all odds to a solo breakaway stage victory in the 1994 Tour de France on legendary Mont Ventoux. \nThe story is captivating and nostalgic for cyclists and non-cyclists alike\, and is as much about family and romance as it is about action and sport. \n-We experience a father’s unwavering support of his son\n-We see how a chance encounter can turn into a decades-long love story\n-And are along for the ride\, experiencing the thrill as a larger-than-life man goes all in on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity \nThis charming\, funny\, heartfelt film inspires us to believe that we all have the capacity to be unlikely heroes in our own stories. \n\n  \nTHE MOVEMENT \nIntroducing Grinta for Life \nWho were you before life told you who you had to be? What’s your purpose? Where do you go from here? Maybe you lost yourself somewhere along the way? \nBoulder cyclist and entrepreneur Jay Crain had been having the same conversations over and over for the past six years with midlife friends. They were discussing concerns about physical and mental health\, careers and relationships\, facing their own mortality while caring for aging parents\, and particularly around a loss of identity. \nThis generation’s transition into midlife faces challenges and opportunities that feel different. \nGrinta for Life is based on Jay’s personal experience of coming back from a dire health situation by first reconnecting with his identity. \nHe’s developing the program with an old college buddy\, Dr. Greg Welk\, a Kinesiology PHD\, 25-year college professor at Iowa State University. He is a published industry expert who started his career at the Olympic Training Center. His lifetime of scientific\, evidence-based research became the foundation of Grinta for Life\, a program which guides people through: \n• reconnecting with their identity\,\n• rewiring their brain\,\n• rebuilding their bodies\,\n• on their journey to reclaiming their identity. \n  \nTHE SPONSORS: \nAdjacent Lab Media\nAdjacent Lab Media was founded by Jay and Donna Crain\, after 30 years of working together across fashion and technology. Their first film\, GRINTA!\, is being featured in festivals worldwide. SUMMARY:Daughtering | Mar 14-22
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nIn “Daughtering\,” three generations of women navigate living\, dying and the dead when they are called home to appease unruly spirits. Sixteen to seventy-something\, each carries her own idea of what it means to be a daughter: caregiver\, rebel\, keeper of the stories\, breaker of the cycle. Over the course of three charged days and nights\, the daughters navigate relationship\, grief\, and the business of the old house that contains them\, alive in its own way with memory and an impressive population of mice. What unfolds is a darkly humorous\, emotionally resonant exploration of identity\, inheritance and the universal work of becoming who we are\, despite (and because of) where we come from. The play culminates in DIY ceremony and catharsis – as tender\, fierce and complicated as daughtering itself.
