CU Boulder School of Education: EDU Talks

November 13, 2019 @ 7:00 pm

Nov. 13

Join us for CU Boulder’s Edu Talks, a series of short, engaging talks led by education professors and researchers exploring humanizing education and creating a more compassionate world. Many current education systems seem to prioritize test scores, evaluations, and accountability over lived experiences and human connection. That’s why we believe that it’s more important than ever to focus on humanizing educational practices and return to the heart of community building.

Featured speakers include Assistant Research Professor of Educational Foundations, Policy and Practice Bethy Leonardi, Professor of Teacher Learning, Research and Practice Dan Liston, Assistant Professor of STEM Education Enrique Lopez, and Program Director for the Leadership Studies Minor Kira Pasquesi.

Inspired by TED Talks, Edu Talks address some of today’s most pressing issues in education and beyond. Free and open to the public.
