Each rhythm\, each gesture\, is part of a lineage: passed down\, reshaped\, and reimagined. These are our tenets. The foundations we return to. The structures we spring from. \nThis dance theatre production reflects our process of learning\, honoring\, and evolving. We study the roots and experiment by intertwining tradition with new patterns that excite and inspire. The result is something alive\, layered\, and future leaning. \nTENETS blends choreography with live music\, spoken word\, and comedy to create a rhythmically rich experience. It is a celebration of movement as philosophy\, memory\, and imagination.

Sher-Machherndl takes movements and gestures\, some of which recognizable from everyday life and transforms them into a style of dance that doesn’t tell what to think\, what to feel\, or what to believe.
