DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nJohn Novosad grew up in Boulder. His Dry Bar special was released on YouTube in December of 2024 and has over 2 million views. Making his network television debut on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson\, John followed that up with a second performance on the Ferguson show. He’s also appeared on Bryon Allen’s nationally syndicated ComedyTV. John’s album\, “Jokes I Can Only Tell Here\,” was released via the Laugh Button in the spring of 2022 where it hit over 1 million views on their Youtube channel. \nKatie Bowman is an a comedic performance and visual artist based out of Denver. Bowman strives to connect with the audience with bits about her life as a social underdog using voices and act outs. She just released her first comedy album\, Neurodivergent Nightmare that hit number one on Itunes and Amazon the week it came out. \nBrad Galli: Comedian. Food Runner. Former Sock Salesman. \nLinus Leas is a Cambodian American comic who started comedy in Asia doing shows for expats and locals alike. He was a featured performer for the comedy group “Shenzhen Now”. He co-hosts the nationally broadcast talk show Daily Blast Live\, which is in its fourth season. Al regularly serves as a contributor with weekly segments on the Bob & Tom Radio Show\, which boasts 140+ affiliates nationally. Al’s hour-long comedy special Baby Steps was picked up by the global distributor Comedy Dynamics and his half hour comedy special is on Comedy Central. He has appeared on several Comedy Central shows\, including This is Not Happening\, The Meltdown\, and @midnight. He was also featured on John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Special and Dave Attell’s Comedy Underground. \nAndrea Marie Vahl is an international speaker and comedian. She has performed at venues such as Comedy Works\, The Denver Improv\, Comedy Festivals in Boston\, Chicago\, World Series of Comedy and produces her own standup show called Moms Unhinged. \nGeorge Delgado is a comic that got his start in comedy back in Texas and currently calls Denver home. Drawing inspiration from his unconventional home life\, intrusive thoughts\, and cultural identity crisis\, George crafts sharp material that resonates with diverse audiences. \nEmma Perkins is a Boulder Comedy Fest alumna and was a semifinalist for Comedy Works New Faces competition 2023. DESCRIPTION:TICKETS \nIn a rare changeup\, just for February\, we are moving this showcase to Sunday at 7pm. \nAfter climbing the corporate ladder in his family’s South Florida car business\, Dave Williamson decided he liked making his customers smile\, but LOVED making them laugh. Since then\, he has excelled in almost every domestic Comedy Festival\, making the finals or “Best of The Fest” in the World Series of Comedy\, Boston Comedy Festival\, San Francisco Comedy Competition\, Big Sky Comedy Festival\, the SLO Comedy Festival\, and several others. Shortly after being named “Best Comedian in Miami” by the Miami New Times\, Dave packed up his family in a 25 foot travel trailer. They traveled with him while he performed all over North America\, eventually settling in Los Angeles after 18 months of touring. This trip was documented in a series of shorts by Nickelodeon.\nAli Kareem is a comedian based in Denver\, known for his sharp wit and engaging storytelling. Born in Baghdad\, Ali’s remarkable journey began as an interpreter for the U.S. Military in Iraq\, a role that eventually led to his U.S. citizenship. Today\, Ali continues to captivate audiences throughout Colorado\, delivering laughter with every performance.\nRebeca Trejo is a Denver-based standup comedian with a style once described by Josh Blue as “slam poetry with punchlines.” Born in Venezuela\, raised in Puerto Rico\, Rebeca migrated to the mainland in 2014 to escape both communism and colonialism\, so naturally she fled to…Louisiana. Now living in Denver\, Rebeca performs stand-up comedy in both English and Spanish. Things are looking up!\n  \nDonelle Prado tours nationally and has performed in Hollywood’s top comedy clubs including The Comedy Store\, The Laugh Factory\, The Ice House\, and The Improv. In 2021\, she toured with “Crazy Woke Asians”\, a California based stand-up comedy troupe dedicated to bringing awareness to social justice issues through humor\, where she headlined their Seattle\, Washington shows. More recently\, Donelle was named “Best of the Fest” in the 2023 Comedy Chateau Comedy Festival in Hollywood\, California and headlined shows at the 2023 Winter Park Comedy Festival.\n  \nRosalie is a comedian who isn’t afraid to talk about the good\, bad and downright filthy parts of being trans. With a voice that’s both authentic and relatable\, George continues to connect with crowds while carving out his place in stand-up. \nMiriam Moreno will not be on the show Saturday\, but replacing her is the very funny Andres Becerril\, who is a union worker and a regular in the Denver comedy scene. \nHouston native Julie Talbot is a queer stand-up comedian sent to save stand-up from its sins. \nPriscilla Dann-Courtney is a psychologist and writer. She and her husband of 42 years raised three children. And she likes to say even though we are all growing older\, the emphasis has to be on the growing and doing new things. So at 68\, she started standup comedy to remember the importance of laughter and the challenge of making ourselves BIG and center stage. Her columns have appeared in numerous national publications\, and her book\, Room to Grow\, Stories of Life and Family (Norlights Press\, 2009) is a collection of her essays. She dreams of becoming a peach farmer\, bringing sweetness and healing to a struggling world. \nCara Leoni is an educator\, comedy writer\, producer\, and entertainer.
