SUMMARY:Father Mother Sister Brother | Mar 4 - 10\, 2026
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nMar 4-8 \nWinner of the Golden Lion Best Film prize at the 2025 Venice Film Festival\, FATHER MOTHER SISTER BROTHER is the eagerly-awaited new film from Jim Jarmusch. Funny\, tender and astutely observed\, this is an intimate exploration of the universal intricacies of family dynamics. Starring Tom Waits\, Adam Driver\, Mayim Bialik\, Charlotte Rampling\, Cate Blanchett\, Vicky Krieps\, Indya Moore\, and Luka Sabbat. Told in the form of a triptych divided into chapters set in New Jersey\, Dublin\, and Paris\, each story concerns the relationships between adult children\, their somewhat distant parent (or parents)\, and each other. Blending remarkable performances from its ensemble cast with Jarmusch’s wry and idiosyncratic observations of everyday life\, the iconic indie director’s latest serves as a timely reminder that you can choose your friends and your lovers\, but you can’t choose your family. SUMMARY:The Chronology of Water | Feb 4-8
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nBased on the beloved memoir by Lidia Yuknavitch and marking the directorial debut of Kristen Stewart\, The Chronology of Water is a raw and unflinching portrait of survival\, sexuality\, and self-invention. The film traces Lidia’s life from her earliest memories in the Pacific Northwest\, as a promising swimmer\, through fractured relationships\, near-motherhood\, addiction\, and encounters with artistic heroes. Told as a fluid memory wash\, the story transforms trauma into art\, embodying Yuknavitch’s defiant voice that made her work a modern cult classic. It is not only a chronicle of a woman becoming a writer\, but a visceral journey through the wreckage and resilience of a life lived against the grain. SUMMARY:Ain't No Back to a Merry-Go-Round | Feb 4-7
DESCRIPTION:TICKETSThis is the untold story of the first organized interracial civil rights protest in U.S. history. When 5 Howard University students sat on a Maryland carousel in 1960\, the arrests made headlines. When the white community near Glen Echo Amusement Park joined the Black students in picketing\, an extraordinary history-making partnership was born. The pickets attracted Nazis\, Congressman\, and a press avalanche. Picketing together over the sweltering summer led to partying together\, and union organizers mentored student activists. Ten 1961 Freedom Riders\, including Stokely Carmichael\, were incubated on the Glen Echo picket line\, and the carousel arrests were challenged in the Supreme Court case.  With never-before seen footage\, and immersive storytelling\, four living protesters rescue this forgotten history\, revealing the price\, and the power\, of heeding the impulse to activism. SUMMARY:The Choral | Jan 28 - Feb 1
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\nJan 28 – Feb \nAs war rages on the Western Front\, the Choral Society in Ramsden\, Yorkshire has lost most of its men to the army. The Choral’s ambitious committee\, determined to press ahead\, decides to recruit local young males to swell their ranks. They must also engage a new chorus master\, and despite their suspicions that he has something to hide\, their best bet seems to be Dr. Henry Guthrie (Ralph Fiennes) – driven\, uncompromising\, and recently returned from a career in Germany. As conscription papers start to arrive\, the whole community discovers that the best response to the chaos that is laying waste to their lives is to make music together. SUMMARY:The Summer Book | Dec 26-30
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS \nNine-year-old Sophia (Emily Matthews) spends the summers at her family’s seasonal home on a tranquil isle in the Gulf of Finland\, but this will be the first summer without her mother.
