Sept. 22 –
Ready for a laugh-inducing, edge-of-your-seat, heart-opening night of stories? Where you or the person next to you could take home the prize for best story? Join us on Sunday, September 22 at Boulder’s Story Slam. The theme for the night is FRESH. If you have a FRESH story, come put your name in the hat. If you don’t want the mic this time, just come listen to a great night of storytelling.
We’ll bring a hat (for you to put your name in), the theme, some music, and a microphone. You bring the stories. There will be a time limit (5 minutes) and a winner. (That’s right — competitive storytelling. The audience votes for the best story.) HAL WALKER, multi-instrumentalist and storytelling songwriter, will also round out the night with musical moments. Invited guest, MATTHEW TAYLOR, storyteller extraordinaire, will kick off our night with one of his sure-to-be-side-splittingly-funny-and-heart-opening stories.
So lean in, open your heart, grab a friend, and show up to BOULDER’S STORY SLAM ON SEPTEMBER 22, 7pm. Co-hosted by JOHANNA & HAL WALKER, brother/sister duo. Let’s tell some stories!
Doors open at 6:30pm. Show starts at 7pm.
General Admission is $15. VIP seats $25 (reserved seats in rows 1 or 2)
