Wednesday, 09/07/22, 6:00pm. Doors open at 5:30pm.
A double feature director’s cut of Part 1 and 2 of a documentary trilogy, followed by a Q&A with Director, Johanna Lunn. The When You Die Project presents a special one-night-only event featuring the first two chapters of the When You Die documentary trilogy in a never-before-seen director’s cut!
Together for the first time, these two documentaries will be shown seamlessly, with a private Q&A with Director Johanna Lunn to follow.
Chapter 1: In the Realm of Death & Dreaming: Does Consciousness Continue After Death?
Chapter 2: Saying Goodbye: Preparing for Death
With insight and humor, these topics are explored through wisdom gleaned from leading clinicians who have spent their careers at the bedside, researchers studying the nature of consciousness, and personal stories of love and loss. The When You Die Project opens the door to good conversation about what is possible as we pass from this life. We believe talking about death and dying fosters a better relationship with an often feared topic, and hope that the films can help in starting these difficult conversations.
Following the screening, Diane Hullet, founder of Best Life Best Death and faculty with the Conscious Dying Institute, will lead the audience-directed Q&A with Director Johanna Lunn.
