RegisterThursday, March 3 at 7PM – Free Virtual Event on Zoom – Join Dairy Arts Center’s Executive Director Melissa Fathman for the first in a series of Zoom conversations with Walt Pourier. Founder of Nakota Designs and the Stronghold Society, Walt is Oglala Lakota, an American skateboarder, artist, designer, skateboarding activist, and a thought-provoking speaker. He is an artist who paints and designs on skateboards, canvas, and other materials, and was Artist in Residence at the Denver Art Museum in 2017. These are not-to-miss conversations that will cover anything from creative movements, indigenous prophecies coming to life, to skateboarding and rock stars!
