Boulder’s Story Slam: The Grand Slam

January 29 @ 7:00 pm

$20 – $35

TICKETS

After a year and a half in person story slams, we’re gathering all the winners together to face off for the GRAND SLAM CHAMPIONSHIP. Join us for a night of heart-opening, laugh-inducing, sometimes a little edgy, sometimes a little wacky STORIES — told by heart, without notes.

Good stories? You be the judge!

Here’s how it works:
We’ve got the mic. Winners from the last year bring the stories. 5 minutes tops. Must be true. Told by heart. At the end of the night, the audience votes on the BEST story.

Meet the storytellers:
Jean Unger
Zannah Carlton
Drew Davis
Chris McDurmut
Lilly Hansing
Melody Fairchild
Laurel Amsel
Mary Roberts
Tamara Van Horn
Nora Burns

This month’s theme is TWIST

*Did you twist your ankle running from the police?
*Was there a sudden plot twist you wanted to tell us about?
*Did your stomach twist at the thought of a looming circumstance?
*Do the fibers of an old sweater twisted together bring back an old memory?

Come listen to a great night of storytelling on January 29th!

Hosted by Johanna Walker with co-host, Macy Matarazzo, and musical guest Rachel Taulbee & friends. This event is sure to sell out so get your tickets early!

See you on January 29th!

Tickets are $20 / VIP guaranteed front row $35
