Boulder Story Slam: Open Slam

June 12 @ 7:00 pm

$15 – $25
Sunday June 12, 7 PM –
PLEASE NOTE: VIP tickets will be reserved seating in the front row.

Boulder’s Story Slam returns to The Dairy stage for a night of true stories, community and fun.

This month’s theme is SLIP

If you have a true story to tell that is IN ANY WAY related to the word slip, you’re invited to put your name in the hat. If your name is drawn, you’ll come to the stage and tell your true, five minute SLIP story. (But when we say 5, we really mean 6)

Your story. Not someone else’s. No notes. Must be true.

If you don’t have a story, don’t worry! 10 people tell stories. Most people listen and enjoy.

Was your slip showing when you gave that important speech?
Did a slip of the tongue get you in trouble?
Did you slip and fall on the ice and get driven to the ER by a handsome paramedic?
Did you slip a note under your secret admirer’s door?
Did you get a pink slip and empty out your desk before lunch?

Come tell us about it on June 12th!

Or just come listen to a great night of storytelling!

Watch Steve Ettinger tell his winning story “Cow Rescue” below.

Hosted by Johanna Walker with guest co-host, Macy Matarazzo, this event is sure to sell out so get your tickets early! See you on June 12th!

Singer/Songwriter Antonio Lopez will round out the night with his music.

“Antonio’s music is like an onion, each layer revealing something more. His adept guitar work and composition skills are never used in a showy way but rather like the spices in a delectable home-cooked meal.”
