Ballet for one week intensive with Robert Sher-Machherndl. Unique opportunity for youth to learn and perform sections Robert Sher-Machherndl’s critically acclaimed choreography and study from the Lemon Sponge Cake repertoire. Start the day with 1.5 hour ballet class followed by 2 hours of company repertoire with the choreographer himself. Dancers will learn a wide variety of movements and combinations with a culminating in a studio showing of work.

Ballet 1b one week intensive. One week long workshop to develop the ballet students understanding of dance and a wonderful opportunity to explore classical ballet vocabulary, learn and expand technical skills and discover the joy of movement. The class includes viewing educational ballet videos with interactive activities and question and answer sessions. The class promises to build a strong foundation for students new to ballet or prepare ongoing student for ballet 1b or ballet 2 classes in the fall.

Ballet 2 a two week intensive. The two-week long intensive is a wonderful opportunity to explore classical ballet vocabulary, learn and expand technical skills and discover the joy of dance. This unique opportunity allows the student to grow as a young dancer and build strong performance skills. The class includes viewing educational videos with interactive activities with question and answer sessions and learning an age appropriate section of a classical ballet. This class will build the foundation in order to be eligible for ballet 3 in the fall.

The class will also include viewing educational videos with interactive activities with question and answer sessions and learning an age appropriate section of a classical ballet.
